Motorcycle Transport
A motorcycle can't be strapped down like a car. It needs a wheel chock to hold it upright, soft ties at the fork or frame, and a driver who knows the difference between compressing a suspension correctly and damaging it.
We ship cruisers, touring bikes, sport bikes, adventure bikes, trikes and vintage machines — in enclosed trailers for most moves, and alongside vehicles on open decks when the bike and route allow.

Enclosed is the default for a reason
A motorcycle has no bodywork protecting its mechanicals. Chrome, chain, exposed wiring and brake components all sit in the open, so highway grit and rain hit them directly.
Most of our motorcycle moves therefore go enclosed. It's usually a smaller premium than car owners expect, because bikes take much less deck space than a vehicle.
How your bike is secured
The front wheel goes into a chock and the bike is tied with soft straps at the lower fork tubes or designated frame points, with the suspension slightly compressed so it can't rebound loose in transit. Chains and ratchet straps against painted or chromed surfaces are not acceptable practice.
Removable hard bags, windscreens and mirrors are typically taken off or secured before loading. Fluids should be topped or drained per your preference, and the fuel level kept low.
Multiple bikes and dealer moves
Enclosed trailers can carry several motorcycles side by side, so a two- or three-bike move usually prices well below separate bookings. Dealerships and rally organizers often ship in groups this way.

Preparing a motorcycle for transport
- Keep fuel low — roughly a quarter tank.
- Remove or secure hard bags, mirrors and loose accessories.
- Disable the alarm or provide instructions.
- Check tire pressure so the bike sits properly in the chock.
- Photograph chrome, paint and fairings before pickup.

- How much does motorcycle shipping cost?
- Rates depend on distance, enclosed vs. open, and bike size. Cross-country enclosed moves are the most common request and are quoted per bike or per load.
- Can you ship a non-running motorcycle?
- Yes, if it rolls and the front wheel turns so it can be loaded into a chock.
- Do you ship trikes and sidecars?
