Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This policy describes our service area, how pickup and delivery timing works, what door-to-door means in practice, and what to expect at each end of the trip.
Service area
We arrange door-to-door vehicle transport in all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii by rail and ocean connection. We do not arrange international vehicle shipping outside the United States.
Transport options
- Open transport: the standard, most affordable option used for roughly 95% of vehicles.
- Enclosed transport: fully covered trailers for classic, luxury, exotic and high-value vehicles.
- Non-running vehicles: winch-equipped carriers for inoperable, project and salvage vehicles, when disclosed at booking.
Pickup windows
Once your order is dispatched, you receive the carrier's name and the driver's contact information along with a pickup window, typically 1 to 3 days. The driver calls ahead to confirm a time. Pickup dates are estimates and depend on carrier routing and availability.
Transit times
Typical transit is 1 to 3 days for regional moves, 3 to 6 days for mid-distance routes, and 7 to 10 days coast to coast. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Weather, road closures, traffic, inspections, mechanical issues and federal hours-of-service rules can affect a schedule. We keep you updated when timing changes.
Door-to-door delivery
Our carriers come as close to your address as is legal and safe for a full-size transport truck. Where narrow streets, low branches, weight limits or HOA restrictions prevent access, the driver will arrange a nearby meeting point such as a shopping center lot.
Release and receipt of the vehicle
An adult 18 or older must be present to release the vehicle at pickup and to receive it at delivery. You may designate someone else in advance. Two sets of keys are recommended; at minimum one working key must be provided.
Inspection and the Bill of Lading
The driver completes a condition report at pickup and again at delivery. Inspect your vehicle carefully at both ends and note any new damage on the Bill of Lading before signing. A signed clean Bill of Lading at delivery makes a damage claim difficult to pursue, so take your time and photograph the vehicle.
Vehicle preparation
- Remove all personal belongings, loose parts, toll transponders and non-permanent accessories.
- Keep the fuel level at or below a quarter tank.
- Disable alarms, and note any leaks, mechanical issues or low ground clearance in advance.
- Fold in mirrors, retract antennas and secure or remove loose spoilers and racks.
Delays and rescheduling
If a carrier falls behind, we notify you and, if needed, reassign your shipment to another carrier at no additional cost to you. If we cannot assign a carrier before dispatch, you owe nothing. If a payment was charged and no carrier ever picks up your vehicle, it is refunded in full.
Damage and claims
Carriers we dispatch carry a minimum of $2,000,000 in cargo insurance. Claims are filed against the transporting carrier's policy, with documentation from the Bill of Lading. Report new damage at delivery and contact us immediately — we help you prepare and follow up on the claim.
